Kate Gallen, ’12, current law clerk at the Missouri Supreme Court for Chief Justice Mary Russell, ’83, will discuss her experience as a law clerk as well as the application process during Life of a Lawyer: Kate Gallen on Monday, October 6th at 1:00 p.m. in Room 107.

Professor Postlewaite from Northwestern University School of Law will be here on Monday, October 6th at 1:00 p.m. in room 332 to talk with the students about the LLM in Taxation offered at Northwestern.

You can join us for a wonderful networking opportunity with the Boone County Bar Association monthly meeting on Wednesday, October 8th at 11:30 a.m. at Bleu Restaurant, which will feature the State of the Court address by Boone County Presiding Judge Jodie Asel.   We will leave the law school at 11:15 to walk to Bleu for the meeting/lunch.  Law School will cover the lunch, but RSVP on Symplicity is required because the spots are limited.

To continue the celebration of Mizzou Law’s Pro Bono Month, Joshua Holmes, ’07, Staff Attorney at AIDSLaw in New Orleans, will be presenting Professionalism Workshop: Working with Clients in Poverty and/or Crisis on Friday, October 10th at 1:00 p.m. in the Courtroom.  Career Component Credit will be available and pizza will be provided if you RSVP on Symplicity.
